Jazz in the City

Written and Produced by Victor Fields

In the 1940s, this hot sound from Harlem called ”jazz” found a new home downtown in the clubs along Manhattan’s 52nd Street. Crossing over into the American mainstream culture, artists with names like “Dizzy” and “Bird” changed our world forever.

“Jazz in the City”, written and produced by internationally-renowned jazz vocalist, Victor Fields, pays homage to the music of that golden age.

It’s Saturday night at, Club Regine (Ray-Jeen), the newest and hottest jazz club on Manhattans’ storied 52nd Street. Created by award-winning designer, Jacquelyn Scott, Club Regine is a composite of Victor’s favorite vintage jazz clubs – past and present.

A black-tie event, guests come dressed to impress.

Guests are encouraged to appear as their favorite jazz artist. Those who do so will receive preferred seating, recognition from the bandstand, and a “celebrity“ swag bag.

Custom accessories to make your outfit “pop” are also available for rent courtesy of costume designer, Nicolas Skinner.
